The International Law Commission, established by the United Nations General Assembly in 1947, assists in the development and codiﬁcation of internaonal law. A body of experts, this commission was to undertake the mandate of the Assembly - initiate studies and make recommendations for the purpose of encouraging the progressive development of international law and its codiﬁcation. Forming an integral part of the UN, it is currently focusing on crimes against humanity, protection of environment in relation to armed conﬂicts, general principles of law and immunity of state oﬃcials
AGENDA : a. The question of UN oﬃcials' and experts’ criminal liability and diplomatic immunity.
b. Discussing the legitimacy of Economic Sanctions under International Law.
